Simonis 860HR (High Resistance) is a hybrid cloth. It has the weight of 860 with the 760 fiber blend, so it gets a balance of ball control and speed with extra wear resistance for tables that see heavy play.

• Worsted construction: 70% wool and 30% nylon
• Weight: about 410 g/m² (roughly 12 oz per square yard)
• Made in 66 in (165 cm) and 78 in (198 cm) widths
• Woven at the Simonis mill in Verviers, Belgium, which has made cloth since 1680

Why worsted cloth plays better

Worsted yarn is combed so only long fibers stay in the weave. Nothing sheds or pills, so the surface stays flat and the ball rolls true for years.
