Pechauer Black Ice Break Shaft
The Pechauer Black Ice Break Shaft is a break shaft from Pechauer. J. Pechauer Custom Cues has handcrafted cues in Green Bay, Wisconsin, since 1963, making its parts in-house.
The Black Ice Shaft is made from a solid piece of hard rock maple that is dyed all the way through, finishing in a gray-black tone with natural grain and mineral marks. Pechauer's Infused Chemical Engineering (ICE) Technology infuses the wood for added density and a smooth, glass-like feel with less friction and more velocity. Average shaft weight is 6.4 oz, about 2 oz more than a standard shaft, for a weight-forward balance that delivers more power with less effort on the break (it helps make any cue a break cue). Available for most popular joint types, with a 1/4 inch black trim ring, 5/8 inch Juma ferrule and C4+ break tip.
