Joss 1001 Gray Pool Cue

1001 Gray Smoke Gray Cue Smoke Gray Cue with Classic Style

The Joss 1001 Gray is a beautifully crafted Smoke Gray Cue that combines premium Canadian curly maple, traditional craftsmanship, and proven Joss performance.
Finished with a hand-rubbed smoke gray stain, this cue highlights the natural beauty of the wood while delivering the dependable playability that players have trusted for generations.

Moreover, the smoke gray finish creates a sophisticated appearance that stands apart from traditional wood tones.
As a result, the cue offers a modern look while maintaining the classic feel and performance that define Joss Cues.

Because wood is a natural material, every cue develops its own unique personality.

Wood is a natural substance, and the grain and color can vary greatly.

Consequently, no two Joss 1001 Gray cues will ever look exactly alike.

Premium Curly Maple Selection

Hand-Selected Canadian Maple

Every Smoke Gray Cue begins with highly figured Canadian curly maple.
Before any wood enters production, I carefully evaluate its density, stability, and grain quality.

As a result, only the finest lumber becomes part of a Joss cue.

Curly maple is prized for its rippling grain pattern that creates a remarkable three-dimensional effect.
As light moves across the cue, the figure appears to shift and come alive.
Therefore, curly maple remains one of the most sought-after woods in cue making.

The forearm and butt sleeve feature solid curly maple enhanced by a hand-rubbed smoke gray stain.
This process intensifies the grain while adding depth, contrast, and visual character.

Traditional Craftsmanship

Irish Linen Wrap and Stainless-Steel Joint

Master cue makers have relied on Irish linen wraps for generations because they provide comfort, durability, and a secure grip.

Therefore, the Joss 1001 Gray features a traditional black Irish linen wrap with white specks that is hand-pressed to perfection.
Not only does it feel excellent in your hands, but it also complements the smoke gray finish beautifully.

In addition, every stainless-steel joint is hand-polished to a mirror finish.
This process enhances durability while providing the crisp feedback and firm hit that serious players appreciate.

Together, these traditional materials create a cue that performs as beautifully as it looks.

Full-Core Performance

Built for Consistency

While the appearance immediately captures attention, performance remains the true measure of any cue.

The Joss 1001 Gray features a full core that extends from the butt plate to the joint.
Because of this design, the cue offers exceptional structural integrity and increased resistance to warpage.

Furthermore, the full-core construction creates the one-piece feel that players consistently praise.
Energy transfers efficiently throughout the cue, resulting in a solid hit, dependable feedback, and excellent consistency.

Whether competing in tournaments, league play, or casual matches, this Smoke Gray Cue delivers confidence on every shot.
