instruments while also earning recognition as collectible works of art.
The Legacy Series showcases designs originally introduced between 1983 and 1991, preserving an important chapter in Joss history.

Dan’s dedication to the craft earned him some of cue making’s highest honors:

2003 American Cue Makers forearm.
Joss carefully selects maple with exceptional grain and character before applying a hand-rubbed nutmeg stain.

As light moves across the surface, the grain creates a dramatic three-dimensional effect.
Furthermore, the stain enhances the wood’s natural depth and movement while preserving its authentic beauty.

Because wood is natural, every cue displays unique characteristics.

Wood is a natural substance, and its grain and color can vary greatly.

Therefore, no two 854E Legacy cues will ever look exactly alike.

Ebony and Maple Rear Sleeve Design

Traditional Ebony Accents

The rear sleeve continues the classic design with rich ebony accents and figured maple inlays.
Together, these materials create a striking contrast that remains elegant and understated.

Moreover, the dark ebony highlights the warmth of the maple and reinforces the cue’s traditional styling.
Players who appreciate classic American cue design will immediately recognize the balance and sophistication of this arrangement.

Stainless Steel Joint and Irish Linen Wrap

The cue
